Welcome all my early morning and late night viewers to my page! My name is Sharon and this will be my fourth year teaching Exceptional Student Education (special ed.) in the Tampa Bay, FL area. I absolutely love what I do and have taught students with intellectual disabilities in a self-contained setting in grades K-2 and 6-8. For the first time this year, I will be teaching a self-contained group of 4th and 5th graders.

I am not the traditional blogger at all! For starters, I am not the most organized or even much of a planner. Truthfully, I'm that teacher who procrastinates until the last minute by pulling an all nighter, while exploding with caffeine, finishing two hours before my alarm, and attempting to fit a recommended 8 hours of sleep into only 2. My motto: I CAN SLEEP WHEN I'M DEAD.

If you are like me, or simply want to see when this madness will end, then I can assure I am worth following. I can not wait to begin sharing my experiences this year and hopefully some helpful tips for you all.
